# Smart Money Discovery

In copy trading, long-term success and consistent profits depend on how efficiently you **discover and manage smart wallets**. **HyperX** provides flexible, powerful filters and a unified dashboard that displays all core metrics on a single page. Whether you’re selecting wallets for the first time or monitoring and refining them daily, HyperX helps you maximize your efficiency.

## Step 1: Filter First, Eliminate Fast

The first step to finding quality Smart Money wallets is setting **clear initial filters**.\
This drastically reduces the cost of deeper analysis — one round of filtering can eliminate most of the noise.

**Example parameters to use:**

* **Time period:** last 30 days
* **Win Rate:** ≥ 60%
* **Account Value:** ≥ $5,000
* **Realized PnL:** ≥ $5,000
* **Total Completed Trades:** 5–100

  > 💡 *Fewer than 5 trades means too little data to assess consistency; more than 100 often indicates high-frequency bots. I prefer medium- to low-frequency traders with more human-like behavior.*
* **ROI:** ≥ 20%

  > *Formula:* ROI = PnL / max(100, starting account value + largest net deposit). Focus is on identifying high-quality wallets with sustained profitability.

After applying these **hard criteria**, only around 300 wallets typically remain for deeper review and potential copy trading.

## Step 2: Preview the PNL Curve

On HyperX’s *Smart Money Discovery* page, all key metrics are displayed at a glance.\
My most-used feature is the 📈 **ROI Trend Chart**, which lets us quickly perform a second layer of filtering. **Filtering criteria**:

* Instantly eliminate wallets with **large drawdowns** — if the curve shows extreme volatility and sharp swings, it means high risk.
* Exclude wallets that **stay in loss for long periods**.
* Remove wallets driven by **single lucky spikes** — if ROI is flat most of the time and jumps due to a single big win, it’s usually unsustainable.

In short, just a few seconds of glancing at the trend chart can dramatically narrow down your shortlist of Smart Money wallets worth deeper analysis.

⚠️ Tip: If the 30-day ROI chart isn’t enough to judge stability, switch the time period to “**All**.”

## Step 3: Check the Trading Statistics Popup

The *Trading Statistics* popup in HyperX gives a concise overview of each wallet’s trading profile — perfect for the final stage of filtering. You should focus on two key metrics:

* **Traded Token Types** — Shows whether the wallet focuses on major coins or altcoins.
  * *Major-coin traders* tend to have steadier, lower-risk styles.
  * *Altcoin traders* often chase volatility and higher potential returns, but with greater risk.\
    Choose based on your own risk preference.
* **Best Trade Profit** — Recommend wallets with **multiple strong trades** rather than those inflated by one lucky win. Consistent profitability > one-off windfalls.

## Recommended Wallet

If you don’t have time or energy to filter manually, you can check the **Recommended Wallets** section.\
These are selected by the platform as **top performers** based on real-time performance data.\
